Death coffin water slide and other news

I got a lot of questions about what the death coffin water slide was really like, so I drew it for you.  Just so you can truly understand what I've been through and what I've accomplished.

In other news, I finally got my new bike on Saturday! And I love it! It took forever, but I finally found the right one and an awesome sales dude to help me.  Get ready for the waves of envy that shall wash over you.

Oh, and here are some cute pictures of my cats.  Just because.

Patches hiding under the kitchen stool during a thunderstorm.
(And also some gunk on my floor.)

Tuxedo and Patches eating beside each other.
I don't care if you don't think this is cute.

  1. I really liked the picture of God up in the sky...until it turned out to be the devil in disguise. Damn devil!

This whole thing seemed scary enough without the pictures. Now I really, really know I don't want to go on it.

I like your bike. I've been trying to ride mine a lot because I like being sweaty and stinky from the 900 degree makes all the boys go wild.

  2. it's always cute when cats dine side by side. i'm glad you escaped from the death tube alive.

  3. You seriously made me pee myself with the death coffin water slide. Yay postpartum bladder!

The pictures of the kitties *are* very cute. I was going to say *your* kitties but I didn't want to give you the wrong idea. ;)

I love how you pointed out the gunk on the floor. When we have something like that on our kitchen floor, my hubby says our cat is saving it for a snack later on. (?)

I really want a second kitty but my husband has said hell no. Maybe he'll come home from work one day and there will be another one. Then I can screw with him and say what cat?? I have no idea what you're talking about.

  4. I don't think I understand the vertical drop still. I'll need a physical re-enactment next time I see you.

I do however think that you've missed your artistic calling. Clearly you are gifted (notwithstanding the fact that I can't really understand what the F you drew).

    Also, your cats ARE adorable!

  5. jacqui - I do think boys like sweaty girls. Also, at least if you're on your bike if the guy is a jerk you can take off like the wind. He'll never catch you.

    Sherilin - I know, right? I love cats :)

Elle - I'm sorry about the pee. Hubby just pointed out that the gunk is *still* on the floor. Yeah. we're pigs. Also, I totally think you should just get a cat - what can he really do about it?

Boatylicious - Yes, physical re-enactments took place all day yesterday. I certainly am a gifted artist. Artwork doesn't have to be understood, does it? It's abstract. Up for interpretation.

  6. The cats are cute because we all know Tuxedo has part of your husband's hand in that bowl.

And the fact your swimsuit stayed on (or did it?) is genius.

  7. I think it's cute that Patches hides during storms. One of mine does that every time there is thunder...or a loud truck drives by.

  8. Lizbeth - Yes! Yes he does. Poor Hubby. And yeah, my bathing suit basically stayed on - for the most part. If by "stayed on" we mean "up my ass".

Suze - It is cute. And pathetic also. Or a loud truck - ha!

  9. I coulda told ya that was Satan all along if you had asked. I know my deities.

    That is one sweet ride.

  10. Next time I'll ask you for confirmation whenever I suspect Satan.

  11. Awww! I love your kitties! I'm trying to convince my husband to take in the stray kitten that ran to my father-in-law and loves me.

And I really want to ride that ride now. Sorry it scared you tho'. Nice art by the way, your pics made me smile.

  12. I love my kitties too! Yes! Rescue the kitten!

  13. I keep re-reading this post because the "a million fucking steps" part makes me giggle every damn time. :P
